School of Petroleum Technology offers programs addressing the technical requirements of oil & gas sector. The school offers Ph.D programme in Petroleum Engineering. Research areas include reservoir studies, recovery enhancement techniques, emerging drilling technologies, flows, deposition and other phenomena of petroleum fluids, and various allied areas of science and technology.
